Cancellation Policy

Registrations may be cancelled if written notice is timely provided to registration@diversifydietetics.org. However, Registration fees paid are non-refundable. Substitutions of registrants may be made to another attendee until June 4, 2024. After that date, no substitutions are allowed. Once a badge (either physical or virtual) is issued it cannot be transferred to another. Those in attendance whose identity does not match an issued badge may be removed and precluded from participation in future Diversify Dietetics events. If an event is canceled by Diversify Dietetics and a registrant does not timely request a refund within such fees will be forfeited.

Registration

I'm a DD Member how can I get my member discount? DD Members can find information on how to purchase their discounted ticket via Circle. If you are unsure how to access the platform, email membership@diversifydietetics.org.

Will the sessions be recorded? Yes! All sessions will be recorded and available to registrants for up to 12 months after the summit. Recording and recording CEUs will be sent out within 21 days of the end of the Summit.

Will this event be in person? If so, where is it held? Yes, this event will be held in person at The Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta, GA.

Where should I stay during the summit? We have a room block at the Georgian Terrace. Click here to book your stay and receive discounted pricing. You are also welcome to coordinate lodging on your own through other hotels, Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms. All attendees are responsible for booking their own travel and lodging.

I cannot attend in person. Is there an option to join virtually? Yes! This is a hybrid event. Attendees who cannot attend live in-person can tune in virtually through our event app - Whova (similar to past years).

Do you offer refunds? We do not offer refunds. However, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Or you may choose to donate your ticket to a student attendee. To transfer a ticket or to donate your ticket to a student attendee, please contact us.  

Can I purchase tickets at the door? No. We take great care to ensure our guests have a fun, relaxing evening with a few surprises, so we need to know who you are! For us to plan the best experience possible, all tickets must be purchased no later than June 3, 2024, 11:59 P.M. EST.  

The name on the ticket doesn't match the attendee’s name. Is that ok? All tickets must match each attendee’s name. Please contact us if you need to transfer the name on the ticket. 

Can I attend if I am under 21 years old? Yes. But you can't drink any of the alcoholic beverages being served. But you knew that already!

What are the event hours? You can find all event details here.

What kind of food/drink are you serving at this event? Attendees to the Media Training Workshop will receive lunch, dinner on June 6th and breakfast on the morning of June 7th. Snacks and refreshments will also be available during the workshop. Attendees to the Annual Summit will receive access to an evening happy hour on Friday, with an open bar and light bites. There are restaurants in The Georgian Terrace and within walking distance that attendees can go for other meals.

What should I wear? Dress is business-casual-jeans-OK attire. The weather in Atlanta in early June is warm and can include surprise rain showers, so pack accordingly.

Will you have a coat check where I can store my luggage? We will have a coat check area where luggage can be stored on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.   

Do you provide special assistance for persons with disabilities? We are committed to making this event accessible to persons with disabilities. Assistive listening devices (“ALD”) are available for events at which sound amplification is used. If you need an ALD, or any other type of accommodation, please email us at registration@diversifydietetics.org at least 48 hours in advance of the event so we can work to meet your needs. 

Can I bring my child with me? Only infants under the age of one of age are permitted to attend with a nursing parent. We will have a nursery available onsite. Due to liability restrictions, no one else under the age of 18, including older infants and toddlers, will be allowed at the conference and in exhibit halls on the show floor at any time. There will be NO exceptions. All purchases are non-refundable.
