The National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history and impact of African American music. It showcases how African Americans have developed and influenced over 50 genres and subgenres of music, from blues and jazz to hip-hop and R&B. The museum features interactive exhibits, expertly curated collections, and aims to educate and transform the appreciation of African American music history and culture.
