Change the status quo.

Recruiting, Retaining, and Supporting Diverse Dietetics Students: The Critical Role of Educators

In this small-group interactive workshop, we'll walk you through innovative strategies to increase and promote diversity in your dietetics program.

Approved for 5.5 CEUs.

Learn from nutrition and dietetics educators who have implemented creative strategies aimed to increase the racial and ethnic diversity of the students and interns in their dietetics programs.

This interactive workshop isn't just lectures. You'll brainstorm in groups with the workshop speakers and other participants about ways to improve the current diversity efforts of your dietetics program. With our small group format you'll have plenty of time for rich dialouge with colleagues. You'll leave the workshop empowered with practical and actionable strategies that you can share with your faculty, advisors, preceptors and administrators.

Our workshop offers an added bonus- all proceeds from this event go to support Diversify Dietetics programs for our student, intern and young professional community.
